This time summer has set in Uttar Pradesh from the month of February itself. The weather remains very dry in most parts of the state. Very light fog is being seen in the morning and evening, but as the day progresses, the sky becomes completely clear and there is strong sunlight during the day, due to which the feeling of summer is now beginning. The Meteorological Department has predicted dry weather in all the districts of the state on Thursday also.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to be dry in Purvanchal and Western divisions of UP today. There is no possibility of any clouds or rain anywhere. There will be mild cold in the morning and evening and sunshine during the day. All 75 districts of the state will remain in the green zone today. Due to sunshine, the temperature has started increasing in most of the districts of the state and at many places it has reached 3 degrees Celsius more than normal.
Warmer than normal in UP
These days, the mercury has increased rapidly in all the districts of UP including Noida, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur. Agra, Banda, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Hamirpur have been the hottest districts in the last 24 hours. The maximum temperature here crossed 31 degrees Celsius. There is a lot of sunshine these days in the capital Lucknow too. Due to which people are coming out of their homes less during the day. The maximum temperature here was 30.2 degrees Celsius.
How will the weather be in these districts today?
Apart from these, on Thursday the sky will be completely clear and sunny in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Sitapur, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Jhansi, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Sultanpur, Amethi, Banda, Chitrakoot, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh and all the surrounding districts.
A new western disturbance is becoming active on 27th February and 2nd March, whose effect can be seen on the Himalayan region, although the weather will remain normal in the plains. Till March 3, the weather in the state has remained dry. No major changes are expected anywhere. The heat will increase further in UP this week. There is an increase of 2-3 degrees Celsius in the maximum temperature of the state in the next three days, after which the state will be warmer than normal.
