Priyanka said that during this time she and Nick had to go through a very sensitive and difficult time. He told that only one person could go inside the NICU at a time. When she saw Malti for the first time, she cried. By then Priyanka’s mother and in-laws had also come there. Priyanka told that most of the time he used to stay in the hospital. That time was very emotional and traumatic for him.

Priyanka also told that she received a text in which it was written that ‘If you do not tell the news of the birth yourself, the media will publish it within three hours.’ This was the reason why Priyanka and Nick had to announce the birth of their daughter in a hurry. Malti’s care and Priyanka’s love
Priyanka told that Nick used to sing songs for Malti on his guitar. And Priyanka had a small iPod in which mantras like Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, Gayatri Mantra and Om Namah Shivay were playing. He said that all these used to play softly near Malti’s cradle throughout the day. Malti also had to undergo blood transfusion 6 times during that period. Priyanka said that during this difficult period, her love was supporting her the most.
