A horrific road accident took place on the National Highway in Sarwadi village of Balotra district of Rajasthan. The sleeper bus going on the highway suddenly collided with the trailer moving ahead. The collision was so severe that the right side of the bus was completely damaged. There is news of death of 6 passengers in the accident. At the same time, many passengers are seriously injured. After the accident, some bodies were seen hanging outside the bus, due to which there was chaos at the spot.
In the picture that has surfaced immediately after the accident, blood soaked bodies have been seen hanging from the bus. At present, the police is engaged in relief and rescue work with the help of local people.
Police interrogating the trailer driver
It is being told that the collision was so gruesome that the driver’s side part of the bus got damaged. After the accident, there was chaos on the highway and long queues of vehicles formed on both sides. As soon as the information was received, the local police reached the spot and started rescue operations.
The injured were taken to the nearest hospital with the help of an ambulance. 6 dead bodies have been kept in the mortuary of Nahta Hospital. After their identification, efforts are being made to contact their families. The police is investigating the entire matter and is interrogating the trailer driver.
Seriously injured Mathura Das referred to Mathur Hospital.
Apart from this, 7 seriously injured passengers have been referred to Mathura Das Mathur Hospital in Jodhpur through a green corridor. The police have taken the trailer driver into custody and started investigation. The process of identification of the dead is going on.
