Gold Silver Price Today: There is a strong rise in the prices of gold and silver in the domestic futures market on Monday, March 2. Gold futures with expiry of April 2, 2026 on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) have jumped by about Rs 5000 on Monday. At the same time, silver has also registered a rise of about 9 thousand rupees in a single day. The Iran-Israel dispute is increasing the prices of these precious metals.
Gold futures on MCX opened at Rs 1,65,501 (per 10 grams). On its last trading day, gold on MCX had closed trading at Rs 1,62,104.

On MCX, silver with expiry of March 5, 2026 was trading at Rs 2,84,010 (per kg), up by 3.28 per cent or Rs 9,012. Silver started the trading day at Rs 2,78,644. The high level of silver during the day’s trading was Rs 2,85,978.
Silver prices are rising in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. Today, 10 grams of silver is being sold at the rate of Rs 3,300 in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. At the same time, to buy 100 grams of silver, customers will have to spend Rs 33,000. The price of 10 grams of silver in Chennai is Rs 3,150.
