The temperature has started rising in Uttar Pradesh even before Holi. The sky is very clear in the state and the sun is shining brightly during the day and it is feeling hot. In most areas of UP, the mercury remains 4-6 degrees Celsius higher than normal. According to the Meteorological Department, a new western disturbance is becoming active in the state. Due to which there may be rain in some districts of Eastern UP.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be dry in UP today, Tuesday 3 March. During this period, strong north-westerly winds will blow at a speed of 25-35 km per hour in both the western and eastern divisions of the state. Due to sunshine, there is a possibility of increase in heat in many districts including Agra, Mathura, Lucknow, Meerut, Varanasi.
Heat increased due to sunshine in UP
There will not be much change in the weather in UP in the coming days. Till March 5, the weather will continue to be dry and strong surface winds in both the parts. In the first week of March itself, due to hot winds, there will be an increase in temperature in many districts including Noida, Ghaziabad, Saharanpur, Bijnor. The maximum temperature in these districts is expected to be 31 and the minimum temperature will be 16 degrees Celsius.
Chances of rain in these districts on Holi
A new western disturbance is becoming active in the Himalayan region from March 4, whose effect can be seen in the eastern districts of Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, there are chances of rain in some districts of Eastern UP. Due to which there will be a slight drop of 1-2 degrees in temperature. Due to the effect of western disturbance, there may be light rain at isolated places in Gorakhpur, Deoria, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Azamgarh and Mirzapur.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no major change in the maximum temperature in UP in the next three days. After this there will be a gradual increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius. Due to which the temperature in the state is likely to be much higher than normal. There will be no major change in the minimum temperature. After three days, there will be a gradual increase in minimum temperature by 2-3 degrees.
