Surveillance through traffic cameras for years, mobile hacked, US plan to kill Khamenei leaked, know how the trap was laid

Israel carried out cyber espionage for years in planning the attack that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Israel had hacked most of the traffic cameras in Tehran. Live footage from these cameras was encrypted and sent to servers in Tel Aviv and southern Israel. Its purpose was to create a complete ‘digital map’ of the daily life of Khamenei and his security circle, so that precise attacks could be carried out.

Mossad started planning years ago

According to a major report in the Financial Times, many current and former Israeli intelligence officers and people have been quoted as saying that Israel’s Unit 8200 and Mossad started this operation years ago. Traffic cameras in Tehran used to track the parking of bodyguards, arrival times, routes, guard changes and who was accompanying them. One camera, especially near Khamenei’s compound, was at such an angle that it was clearly visible where the bodyguards’ cars were parked.

Israel was understanding Khamenei’s life pattern

Apart from this, mobile network was also breached. The movement of the security staff was clear from the phone location. From this, Khamenei’s ‘life pattern’ (daily habits) was created, when he goes to office, when meetings take place, who he is with, etc.

The report says that this intel was used to precisely attack Khamenei’s compound, where he was with senior leaders, in the US-Israel strike on February 28, 2026. More than 30 bombs were dropped in the attack and Khamenei died.

Israel reads Tehran like a digital map

It is written in media reports that Israel had read Tehran like a ‘digital map’. Took footage from thousands of cameras and analyzed it with AI and signal intelligence. The routes were known by observing the parking of bodyguards through a camera. Confirmation was available through mobile data.

There has been no official comment from Iran yet, and the report says that all the claims have not been independently verified.

America’s arms stock is ‘unlimited’

This revelation has come on the fourth day of the Iran war, where US-Israel strikes are continuing. In response, Iran launched drone-missile attacks on American bases in Gulf countries. America has issued an alert to its citizens from 14 countries to evacuate. There have been more than 1200 deaths in this war, of which 742 are in Iran. Oil prices crossed $150 per barrel.

Trump said that the stock of weapons is ‘unlimited’ and the war can be fought ‘forever’. Israeli PM Netanyahu also said that it was necessary to stop Khamenei’s nuclear program. This cyber operation shows that the war was planned not just through air strikes, but through years of cyber espionage.
