Renault has recently released the teaser of a new SUV concept named Bridger. The company will present this concept to the world on March 10. Although this model will not be launched in the Indian market immediately, there are plans to bring it to India in the coming time. The special thing is that this SUV has been designed keeping India in mind, hence its arrival in the Indian market in the future is considered almost certain.
New SUV designed in India
Renault Bridger has been designed in India and has been specially designed keeping in mind the needs of Indian customers. This SUV will be less than four meters in length, hence it will be placed in the sub-4m SUV segment. The demand for vehicles of this segment is very high in India, because they are compact in size and easy to drive in the city. The company can position this SUV above its popular Kiger and below the new Duster. With this, customers will get a new option which will be small in size but strong in terms of features and power.
Strong and tough design
According to the information revealed from the teaser, the look of Renault Bridger will be quite boxy and strong. A spare wheel can also be provided behind it, which gives it more off-road style. Big and thick tires further enhance its tough look. In terms of design, a glimpse of simple but strong SUV style like the new Duster can be seen in it. The aim is to create a small SUV that looks good in the city and is also reliable off-road.
Option of 4×4 and AWD may be available
The most special thing about Renault Bridger may be its 4×4 or AWD system. If this happens then it can create a distinct identity in the small SUV segment. There are very few such small but off-road capable vehicles in the Indian market. For this reason, it is believed that after its launch, this SUV can compete with vehicles like Maruti Jimny and Mahindra Thar. Although its size will be smaller than them, but the features and off-road capability can make it special.
Launch in India may take time
Renault Bridger is currently a concept model and the company is not going to launch it immediately. According to the report, it may take one to two years to reach the Indian market. There is a possibility that it will be produced in India itself and exported from here to other countries also. Currently Renault is preparing to launch the new Duster in India. For the customers who have been waiting for a long time, the new Duster will be brought with new design and modern features.
