US Iran Conflict: The ongoing military tension between Iran and America has once again intensified. Many cities of Iran were targeted in the latest American air strikes. The most serious impact was seen in Ahvaz city, where the children’s cancer treatment department of Shahid Baghai Hospital was damaged in the American bombing. The patients and children undergoing treatment in the hospital had to be immediately taken to a safe place. Meanwhile, the conflict between the two countries regarding the Strait of Hormuz has deepened.
Children’s cancer department suffered loss
According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, the American attack affected the part of Shahid Baghai Hospital in Ahvaz, where chemotherapy was given to cancer patients, including children. The hospital was evacuated after the attack. At present the patients have been shifted to other safe places.
Attacks in many cities of Iran
According to reports, explosions took place in several areas including Qeshm Island, Bandar Abbas, Sirik, Chabahar, Konarak, Rusk City, Khondab and Khurramabad. Air defense systems were also activated in Tehran. Iranian officials claim that an army barrack was also targeted in the attacks, in which at least seven soldiers died. So far, 35 people have been claimed dead and more than 300 people injured.
America reimposes port blockade
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that it targeted Iran’s military capabilities that were posing a threat to ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The US also claimed that it had stopped an oil tanker heading towards Iran and reimposed the blockade of its ports.

Iran’s counterattack and Trump’s warning
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) claimed that it targeted the US Fifth Fleet and other military targets in Bahrain. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said that if Iran does not return to the negotiating table, the situation may become more serious next week. However, the talks through mediation between the two countries have not yet formally ended.
Strait of Hormuz became the biggest controversy
Iran has reiterated that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until America stops its military action. This sea route is considered one of the most important routes for oil and gas supply in the world. Due to this, the effect of tension is also visible on the global energy market.
