Many good and important features have been provided in Citroen Basalt. It has a 10.25 inch touch screen infotainment system, which supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The seats get leatherette covers and a large boot space of 470 liters is provided, which makes long journeys with the family easy. It also has features like LED projector headlamps, auto climate control and rear AC vents.
Kia Syros seems to be a step ahead in terms of features. It has a large 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display Panel, which offers navigation and connected car technology. Apart from this, features like dual pane sunroof, 64 colors ambient light, rear seat recline and ventilated seat make it more premium. If seen on the basis of features, Kia Syros gives a more modern and luxurious experience.
Who is ahead in engine and performance?
Citroen Basalt has a 1.2 liter three cylinder petrol engine. Its manual version has 82 PS power and 115 Newton meter torque. It has a five-speed manual gearbox. According to the company, it can give a mileage of 18 to 18.7 kilometers per liter. In its automatic version, this engine gives 110 PS power and 205 Newton meter torque. On the other hand, Kia Syros has two engine options. It has a one liter turbo petrol engine, which gives 120 PS power and 172 Newton meter torque. Apart from this, a 1.5 liter diesel engine is also available, which gives 116 PS power and 250 Newton meter torque. The option of manual and automatic gearbox is available in both engines. Kia Syros looks stronger in terms of engine options and power.
Who is economical in price?
The starting ex-showroom price of Citroen Basalt is Rs 8.15 lakh and the price of its top variant goes up to Rs 13.11 lakh. Whereas the starting price of Kia Syros is Rs 8.67 lakh and the top variant is available up to Rs 15.94 lakh. That means Basalt is a little cheaper in terms of price.
