It has been more than a week since the war between America, Israel and Iran. Meanwhile, Iranian President Masood Pejeshkian said that his statements related to stopping attacks on Gulf countries and apology were misinterpreted. He made it clear that Iran stands firmly against those who attack it and will respond with force.
The US President had said that under his pressure, Iran has apologized to its neighbors and has been defeated by them. To this, Pezeshkian said that his statements were misunderstood by the enemy, who is trying to sow division among the neighbors. He reiterated that Iran wants good relations with its friendly neighboring countries. Pejeshkian said, ‘Iran is forced to respond to attacks from other countries, but this retaliation does not mean that there is any dispute with those countries.’
He said, ‘Iran stands firmly against those who attack it and will respond with full force. Despite all the problems, we will stand united against the enemy with all our strength, regardless of any political party or faction. We will not let them occupy even an inch of our land. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Iran is not going to stop and will retaliate from wherever it is attacked.
Security chief Ali Larijani said, ‘The goals announced by the Americans and Israelis are not realistic. Their real objective is to break Iran as a nation and that is why Iran will not compromise on its right to self-defense. According to the Washington Post, the US intelligence agency’s report found that even a large-scale US-led attack on Iran would not be successful in toppling the Iranian government. Citing sources, the report said that these findings cast doubt on the Trump administration’s claim that the war could end within four to six weeks.
