There was panic in Barmer district of Rajasthan, adjacent to the India-Pakistan border, after receiving a threat to blow up the District Court complex. On receiving the information of receiving a threatening email, a team of police and security agencies reached the spot and after evacuating the entire court premises, a thorough investigation was started with the help of dog squad and bomb disposal squad. During this period, the functioning of the courts was also affected for about 2 hours. However, no suspicious object has been recovered so far during the investigation. Apart from this, Nagaur Court has also received a bomb threat, the bomb disposal squad has reached there too and the court has been evacuated.
Barmer Superintendent of Police Narendra Singh Meena said that late night, a threatening mail was received from the name Saurabh Biswas on the official email ID of the District and Sessions Judge. In this mail it was written that the court premises would be blown up with 14 bombs filled with cyanide gas. At that time the District and Sessions Judge was on leave. When the employees checked the email in the morning, information about the case came to light, after which the judge of the ADJ court informed the Superintendent of Police.
Intensive search operation was conducted
As soon as the information was received, officials of police and security agencies reached the spot and as a precaution, evacuated the entire court premises and started an intensive search operation. Dog squad and bomb disposal squad investigated the entire premises, but at present no suspicious object has been found.

Superintendent of Police Narendra Singh Meena said that a similar threatening email had already been received, which the police is investigating. At present, it is not known from where this email was sent. The report of the case will be sent to higher officials of ATS, while DCRB team is also being activated and efforts are being made to find out the source of the email.
Tamil Nadu Police’s case raised in the mail
It is written in the threatening email that when the court cannot provide justice to innocent people, then what is the use of it. Referring to terrorist Ajmal Kasab, it has been written in the mail that Kasab was a terrorist who was caught with respect, whereas Ajit Kumar of Tamil Nadu was illegally beaten to death by the police there.
