Dhurandhar 2’s advance booking creates premiere record
Advance booking for Dhurandhar 2 started on March 7 at 11:01 am after the trailer was released. After this, within 24 hours, 87 thousand tickets of the film were sold only on Book My Show. By the morning of March 9, this figure had reached more than 1.5 lakh on the platform and more than 2 lakh overall.
According to Sacanilc, the premiere show of the film has sold 2.06 lakh tickets all over India, due to which it has earned Rs 12.29 crore without block seats. Although most of the collection came from the original Hindi version, the Tamil dub performed better than expectations, earning around Rs 10 lakh from the preview shows. Dhurandhar: The Revenge has now set the record for the highest collection from the premiere show of a Bollywood film, surpassing Stree 2’s Rs 10 crore mark. Considering that the premiere is still 9 days away, this figure is expected to increase further.
