Lok Adalat will be organized simultaneously in many courts of Patna district. These mainly include Patna Sadar Civil Court, Patna City, Danapur, Barh, Masauri and Sub-Divisional Courts of Paliganj. At all these places, such cases will be heard which can be easily resolved through mutual agreement.

Lok Adalat usually takes up such cases which can be resolved through negotiation and compromise. This time too many types of cases have been included. These mainly include small criminal cases, cases related to check bounce (Negotiable Instruments Act 138), disputes related to electricity bill or electricity, motor vehicle accident compensation cases, civil disputes, cases related to weights and measures, labor related disputes, bank loan recovery cases, cases related to traffic challan, efforts will be made to settle these cases quickly with the consent of both the parties.

How to register

Those who want to resolve their cases through Lok Adalat will have to apply by March 13. For this they can approach their respective courts. Apart from this, interested persons can also apply directly in the office of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA). After the application, his case can be included in the Lok Adalat to be held on March 14.

Benefits of Lok Adalat

There are many benefits of resolving disputes through Lok Adalat. There is no court fee involved in this. If court fees have already been deposited and the matter is resolved in Lok Adalat, then that fee is refunded. The decision of Lok Adalat is final and legally valid. This decision cannot be appealed in any higher court. The most important thing is that the matter is settled quickly and peacefully.
