CM Mamata Banerjee released the manifesto of Trinamool Congress (TMC) for the West Bengal Assembly elections. Under the ‘Lakshmi Bhandar’ scheme, TMC has announced to give Rs 1,500 every month to general category women and Rs 1,700 every month to SC/ST. CM Mamata Banerjee said, the youth who are unemployed will get Rs 1,500 as pocket money every month. Bengal is a destination for industry. We are number one in MSME. 1.5 crore employees work under MSME. The leather industry is the biggest in Bengal.
Mamta will create new districts in Bengal
TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee said, ‘We will start ‘duare chikitsa’ (door-to-door health services). We will start it at every booth, we will organize ‘Duare Chikitsa’ camps. Thousands of schools will be modernized with e-learning facilities. In the coming days, we will create 7-8 new districts, blocks, even new municipalities.

TMC government will increase agriculture budget
After coming back to government, TMC has announced to increase the budget in the agriculture sector. Mamata Banerjee said, ‘I am also committed to bringing an agriculture budget of Rs 30,000 crore to help families dependent on agriculture, support landless farmers and further improve the agriculture sector. Apart from this, medical camps will be organized in every block and town to ensure door-to-door medical services.

Mamata Banerjee angry at BJP
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, ‘I appeal to the people of Bengal to unite and fight against BJP to save Bengal. If central agencies are trying to scare you, don’t be afraid. If they are trying to give you money, don’t take it. They bring money and weapons, mafia from border areas and are trying to create unrest and riots here. I am not doing divisive politics. Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs and Christians are all the same.
Taking aim at BJP, CM Mamata Banerjee said, ‘No other party except TMC can save Bengal. Do not pay attention to PM Modi’s speech. Instead of everyone’s development, he has destroyed everyone. They (BJP) are doing Beti, Mahila, Kisan Hatao and BJP Gunda Bachao in the name of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
