We condemned the rape of the victim. Kolkata Police arrested the culprit within 24 hours. The victim’s parents had demanded a CBI inquiry. CBI investigated this matter.
Kunal Ghosh said that CBI justified the investigation of Kolkata Police. The trial court, high court, and Supreme Court monitored and justified the investigation. Later the parents were also not satisfied with the CBI investigation. He said under whom does CBI come? CBI comes under BJP. Now she has become a BJP candidate.
He said that the victim’s parents had tried to meet the President, Prime Minister and Home Minister. They didn’t give you a minute and insulted you. You are demanding justice by becoming a BJP candidate. You came into politics over the death of a girl. He said that you will have to answer this question that you became the candidate of the same party which was against the CBI.
BJP’s Central Election Committee announced the names of candidates for 19 seats in West Bengal. The list covers various districts of the state, including Cooch Behar South, Rajganj, Islampur, Hemtabad, English Bazar, Shantipur, Panihati, Howrah Central, Uttarpara, Singur, Chandannagar, Chunchura, Haripal, Tamluk, Medinipur, Purbasthali South, Katwa, Sainthia and Nalhati.
