Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge announced Congress’ ‘five guarantees’ for Assam, which included financial assistance to women, health insurance of Rs 25 lakh, lease of Rs 10 lakh to Bhumiputras and justice in the Zubin Garg case. Kharge accused the BJP government of corruption and filling the coffers of its leaders, and called for change of power in the state.
