Just before the West Bengal elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party had targeted Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Now Mamata Banerjee has taken a dig at BJP on Monday (30 March). During an election rally in Belda, he made a big claim that BJP will stop giving both cash and gas after the elections. There is a shortage of gas in the country due to the US-Iran war. Mamta took a jibe at this issue.
Mamta Banerjee also accused BJP of dividing the society. He said that BJP works to spread hatred in the country. Because of this, fights are increasing among people. Earlier on Sunday, Bengal CM had claimed that if BJP comes to power, it will stop the ‘Lakshmi Bhandar’ scheme started for women.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah had targeted Mamata Banerjee during an election rally. He had said that the Bengal CM sometimes gets her leg broken and sometimes gets it bandaged. Banerjee also expressed strong objection to Amit Shah’s alleged comment regarding the leg injury she suffered during the 2021 assembly elections.
