BJP will release its resolution letter regarding Assam Assembly elections on March 31. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will release a resolution letter for Assam. A balance has been created in the resolution letter between development and cultural identity. The resolution letter is going to focus on youth, employment, education and local economy.
In the resolution letter, BJP is preparing to make a big announcement regarding providing employment to the youth. Preparations are on to include the promise of providing more than 2 lakh government jobs in the resolution letter. Apart from this, a scheme is also proposed to provide financial assistance of ₹ 2 lakh to ₹ 5 lakh to 10 lakh educated youth for entrepreneurship. So that employment generation can be promoted at the local level.
There is also preparation to make an announcement in the resolution letter regarding land and cultural conservation. Mention can be made in the resolution letter to continue the removal of encroachment campaign to take back forest and government lands. Also, there is likely to be a special emphasis on strengthening the cultural heritage and identity of Assam. In the field of education, big announcements like provision of free education and financial assistance to private sector teachers can also be included in this, which are being considered as an important step.
The focus is also expected to be on developing high-end eco-tourism circuits to boost tourism and local economy and plans to increase people’s income through homestay schemes. Apart from this, proposals to build world-class monuments and complexes at sites associated with saints and great personalities of the state can also be included.
