Two twin sisters living in Tapukada village of Khairthal-Tijara district of Rajasthan did wonders in the 12th board examination. There was a difference of only .20 percent in the marks of these two sisters, who had an age difference of just 3 minutes, in the 12th board exam. Let us tell you that elder sister Palak has got 97.80 percent marks, while younger sister Payal has got 97.60 percent marks. Both the sisters brought glory to the entire village and district by scoring such excellent marks in science. There is only 0.20 percent difference in the marks of the two sisters. This difference is as small as the difference in their height and weight.

Family environment helped

Palak and Payal’s father Sunil Kumar is a manager in the village cooperative society. Whereas, mother Rekha Yadav works as a Panchayat teacher in the government school of the village. There is a good study environment at home. Both the parents continued to encourage the children. He used to say that anything can be achieved by working hard. This positive environment helped both the sisters a lot in moving forward.

Same since birth, but little difference

It is worth noting that there is a difference of only 3 minutes in the birth of both the sisters. They are very close to each other since childhood. They even do everything together, including sports, eating and studies. Both give tough competition to each other in studies. Sometimes Palak gets ahead and sometimes Payal gets good marks. Both encourage each other, which helps them a lot in their studies.

The routine of both is very disciplined.

Mother Rekha told that Palak and Payal’s daily routine is very disciplined. Both of them used to study regularly for 6 to 7 hours every day. Sometimes they would sit together and study and sometimes they would concentrate on different subjects. When she felt tired in the middle of her studies, she would take a short break and after getting refreshed she would start studying again.

This is the dream of both girls

The next goal of Palak and Payal, who have achieved success in 12th examination, is very big. Both want to become IAS officers. She says that she will continue working hard in future also. His dream is to serve the society and help people.
