Official update of Dhoni’s return
While issuing an official update regarding Dhoni on social media, Chennai had said that he is undergoing rehab due to calf strain. Due to this, he cannot play for the first two weeks of IPL. Apart from this, till now CSK has not released any other official update regarding Dhoni. The thing to note is that even in the last update nothing was said about the date of Dhoni’s return.

In the 2025 IPL, Dhoni batted in 13 innings of 14 matches and scored 196 runs at a strike rate of 135.17, in which the high score was 30* runs. 12 fours and 12 sixes came from his bat.
