Who is Prince Yadav?
24 year old fast bowler Prince Yadav plays domestic cricket for Delhi. He was born on December 12, 2001. Prince made his IPL debut in 2025 i.e. last season itself. The thing to note is that just a year before this he had made his debut in domestic cricket for Delhi.
How did you enter IPL?
Every player playing domestic cricket wants to earn name by playing in IPL. But for this the players have to work very hard and show their talent on the right stage. For Prince, performing brilliantly in the Delhi Premier League was the most important aspect to break the door of IPL. The fast bowler performed brilliantly in the Delhi League of the 2024 season, taking 13 wickets in 10 matches.
After this he got a chance to make his white ball debut in Delhi domestic cricket. Before this, he had played 2 matches of Red Ball i.e. Ranji Trophy for Delhi. After making his debut in white ball, Prince continued his amazing work. A day before the mega auction for IPL 2025, he played his first T20 match against Uttar Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, in which he took 2 wickets and played an important role in helping Delhi win.
The very next day, Lucknow Super Giants bought Prince for Rs 30 lakh. In the first season, Prince got a chance to play 6 matches, in which he took 4 wickets. In this way, the brilliant performance of Delhi Premier League opened the door of IPL for Prince. Even in IPL, he proved his mettle with his explosive bowling and gained fame by dismissing many big batsmen.
