The weather has completely changed in Uttar Pradesh. Since this morning, there are dark clouds in many districts of the state including Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut. At many places, there is loud thunder and at some places rain is also being seen. According to the Meteorological Department, the next 48 hours may be heavy for both western and eastern divisions. There has been a warning of rain, lightning and hailstorm along with strong storm across the state today.
According to the Meteorological Department, a heavenly disaster can wreak havoc in UP today on 7th April. Meanwhile, an orange alert has been given for lightning and hailstorm along with thunder in Western UP today. During this period, there are also warnings of strong storm with a speed of 50-60 km per hour. There are yellow alerts for thunderstorms at some places in the eastern division. Winds will blow at a speed of 30-40 km in these districts.
Heavy burden on the state for next 48 hours
The next 48 hours are going to be very difficult for the farmers in UP. On Wednesday, April 8, an orange alert has been given for thunder, lightning, storm and heavy rain at almost all places in both the western and eastern divisions. There are also warnings of hailstorm in both the divisions, which may cause damage to farmers’ crops.
In UP today, there has been a warning of rain and hailstorm along with strong storm in Agra, Mathura, Hathras, Aligarh, Kasganj, Etah, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Etawah, Auraiya and Jalaun. There is also a possibility of lightning at some places.
Yellow alert of storm and rain in these districts
There is an alert of thunderstorm and rain today at some places in Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Hapur, Baghpat, Shamli, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Mahoba, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Farrukhabad, Hardoi, Kanpur and Unnao, while Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lucknow, There may be rain at one or two places in Sitapur, Barabanki, Gonda, Bahraich, Shravasti, Ayodhya, Amethi, Sultanpur, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Chitrakoot, Banda, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi and Lalitpur.
The weather will be normal in the rest of the state today. No warning has been given for these districts. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of the state will increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours. After this there may be a sudden increase of 6-8 degrees. The rain will stop on 9th and 10th April.
