It’s easy to start a business
Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana has emerged as an easy option for starting or expanding a small business. Under this scheme, a maximum loan of up to Rs 20 lakh can be taken without any guarantee for non-agricultural and non-government works.
The loan is divided into four parts according to the need. Shishu Loan (up to Rs 50 thousand), Kishore Loan (50 thousand to 5 lakh), Tarun Loan (5 lakh to 10 lakh) and Tarun Plus (10 lakh to 20 lakh). This money can be used for small businesses like shop, dairy or poultry farming. You can also start your own business by taking advantage of this scheme.
First time business people got support
Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana has made the path easier for people thinking of starting their own business. According to statistics, about 12.15 crore loans have been given to those starting business for the first time. Whose total amount is approximately Rs 12 lakh crore. Union Minister of State Pankaj Chaudhary says that with this initiative small businessmen do not have to depend on moneylenders. Due to which they do not get trapped in the trap of debt.
Women remained self-reliant
Women are getting the maximum benefit from this scheme. Talking about statistics, women constitute 67 percent of the total number of loan takers. 38.71 crore loans have been given to women. Also, 51 percent loan has been given to OBC category.
