22-year-old Jacob Bethel has now become the second England opener to take the most number of balls to score the first run in ODI cricket. Sir Alastair Cook is at number one in this record list. Cook opened his account on the 18th ball while opening the innings in the ODI match against South Africa in 2012. Today against India, Bethel scored the first run on the 13th ball.
