Deepika Padukone recently had to face trolling for not publicly appreciating the success of her husband Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. Amidst this discussion, the actress has now reacted to Anurag Kashyap’s statement in which he talked about Ranveer Singh’s acting in the film ‘Lootera’ with Sonakshi Sinha.
Deepika’s reaction on Anurag’s statement
Let us tell you that in an interview given to Miss Malini, Anurag Kashyap had talked about Ranveer’s method acting in Vikram Aditya Motwane’s film ‘Lootera’. He had told how the actor had put a clip on his stomach to bring authenticity to his character. He said, “In the climax, where his (Ranveer’s) character is shot, he secretly put a clip on his stomach to feel the pain. After this he had to be taken to the hospital. Despite the pain, he did not tell anyone and kept working till he became uncomfortable to move.”

The actress was trolled a lot on social media for Deepika not publicly supporting Ranveer Singh despite his huge success at the box office. After which, giving a befitting reply to the haters, he commented on a post, “My friend, the latter is correct. Note: I had seen this film long before all of you. Now whose joke is it?”
