AIIMS Patna has announced recruitment for 75 posts of Senior Resident. The special thing about this recruitment is that the candidates will not have to go through a long online process, but will be selected directly through walk-in-interview and document verification. Selected candidates will be given good salary. The interview will be conducted from 16th April to 18th April. Candidates are advised to arrive on time and with all the documents. According to the notification, there is a need for specialist doctors in different departments. 4 posts each have been kept in Anesthesiology and Ophthalmology. There are 2 posts each in Anatomy, Emergency Medicine, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Neonatology, Nuclear Medicine, Pediatrics, Pharmacology, Radio-Diagnosis and Transfusion Medicine and Blood Bank. One post each has been kept in Biochemistry, Dermatology, Hospital Administration, Microbiology, Orthopedics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Apart from this, 3 posts each will be recruited in CTVS, CFM and Psychiatry, 5 posts each in General Surgery and Clinical Hematology, 9 posts each in General Medicine and Pathology/Lab Medicine and 6 posts in Radiation Oncology.
This is an important qualification
Candidates appearing for walk-in-interview must have MD, MS, DNB, DM, MCh or equivalent post-graduation degree in the relevant subject. The degree should be from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission or National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.
age limit
The maximum age of the candidates applying for this recruitment drive has been fixed at 45 years. Candidates above 45 years of age cannot apply. However, reserved category candidates have been given relaxation in the maximum age. OBC candidates have been given three years relaxation, SC-ST candidates have been given 5 years relaxation and PwBD candidates have been given 10 years relaxation.
How much salary will you get?
Candidates have been advised to bring all their necessary documents, certificates and passport size photographs. If the papers are not complete, there may be problems in the interview. Selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs 67,700 every month.
When will the interview take place?
The interview will start from 16th to 18th April at 10 am in ‘Committee Room, Administrative Building’. However, candidates are required to reach ‘e-Classroom, Administrative Building’ at 9 am so that the document verification can be done on time. Application form will be made available on the day of interview itself, which will have to be filled and submitted. Besides, the prescribed registration fee will also have to be paid.
