According to the information, a big Indian oil tanker was carrying about 2 million barrels of Iraqi crude oil on Saturday (April 18, 2026), during which this Indian tanker was targeted by the Iranian Navy in the north of the Gulf of Oman. The Indian Navy is trying to find out more information about this incident, because none of its ships are present in the Strait of Hormuz. However, India has two destroyers, a frigate and a tanker deployed in the Gulf of Oman.
