Middle East Conflict: On one hand, Iranian President Pezeshkian is calling the nuclear program Iran’s right, while on the other hand, efforts for talks are going on. Now there is news that the next round of talks between the two countries can be held in Islamabad. Although there is no official information, the second round of talks may return to the table.
American military aircraft landed at Noorkhan airbase
Quoting Pakistani sources, Al Jazeera reported that heavy American military aircraft like C-17 Glohubmaster III have landed at Noor Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi. This airbase is very close to Islamabad. Apart from this, the roads leading from the airport to the Red Zone of Islamabad have been closed. Security arrangements have been tightened.
Apart from these, Serena Hotel and Marriott Hotel are being evacuated. The first round of talks took place at Serena Hotel here on April 11. In such a situation, the ceasefire deadline is ending on 21st April. At present Trump is not in favor of extending this ceasefire.
Here, representatives of both the countries are in constant touch through Islamabad since the last round of talks.
Pakistan is playing the role of mediation in bringing both the countries to the table.
Here, Pakistan has played an important role in the entire matter. Pak Field Marshal Asim Munir recently visited Iran. During this, he stressed on finding a solution through peace and dialogue.
Here, Donald Trump has given positive indications regarding talks with Iran. Trump has said that if any kind of agreement is reached with Iran, he will personally go and sign that deal. Tension has continued between Iran and America for the last 8 weeks. Iran had opened the Strait of Hormuz and closed it again.
