The Iran-America dispute has now turned into a social media war. The Iranian Embassy in South Africa has called US President Donald Trump an idiot, citing a marine audio clip.
what is the matter
Actually, this entire controversy started with a viral video and audio clip, which is allegedly of radio communication between the IRGC Navy and the ships present in the sea. In this recording, an officer of the Iranian Navy is heard using the word idiot. It was claimed on social media that an Iranian official had used this word for his own Foreign Minister.
What did the Iranian mission say?
The Iranian mission based in South Africa has made a very strong post on X rejecting these claims. The Iranian Embassy wrote, “Idiot, he meant your ‘idiot’ President Trump. Search idiot on Google and you will understand who he is.” This statement from the embassy directly targets US President Donald Trump, who often shares his foreign policy through social media.
You idiot, he meant your Idiot President, Trump.
Just google ‘idiot’—you’ll understand who it is. https://t.co/ukaYXj0FSE

what was said in the audio
In this radio message broadcast on Maritime Channel-16, IRGC gave a strict warning to the ships trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The message said, “This is a call from the Iranian Navy on Channel 16. The Strait of Hormuz is still closed. We will open it on the orders of our Imam Khamenei, not on the basis of some ‘idiot’s’ tweets.”
Let us tell you that this message of the Iranian Army was a sarcasm on Trump’s posts and statements in which he had claimed that the Strait of Hormuz was completely open. Usually embassies avoid using such derogatory language, but the increasing tension in Hormuz and the US siege made Iran more aggressive.
