S Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh Controversy: Amidst IPL 2026, once again the sound of ‘Thappadkand’ of Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth has echoed. Earned around Rs 1 crore from advertising

Sreesanth was quoted as saying by India Today, “I never talked about bhajji in any interview unless there was a controversy. But they earned around Rs 80 lakh to Rs 1 crore from an advertisement about that (slap scandal). Then they called me and asked me to share that advertisement on the story.”

Sreesanth further said, “I told him that I will forgive, but never forget. If someone is wrong to you, you should forgive them but not forget. If you forget, they will do the same again. There is no doubt about that.”

Blocked on Instagram

Sreesanth said, “I have no relationship with that person. I used to call him brother. But in the last 1 or 2 months he did that advertisement and now I have blocked him on Instagram.”

What was the slapping incident?

In the first season of IPL in 2008, after the match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings, Harbhajan Singh slapped S Sreesanth on the middle of the field. After this incident, Sreesanth was seen crying on the field.
