Rahul Gandhi on Ram Madhav Comment: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday took on RSS leader Ram Madhav. Rahul Gandhi has given this reaction on Madhav’s recent statement regarding Russian oil imports. Rahul Gandhi took a jibe at his comment by linking it to the real character of the Sangh.
Gandhi accused the Sangh of surrender. Also the organization has been declared fake. While posting on X, Rahul wrote that Rashtriya Surrender Sangh, fake nationalism in Nagpur and complete sycophancy in America. Ram Madhav has simply exposed the real character of the Sangh.
Why has Rahul Gandhi made this comment?
This statement of Rahul Gandhi has come on the comment of Ram Madhav, when during a panel discussion in America, he said that New Delhi has done a lot to maintain good relations with America. Citing some examples, he said that India had agreed to stop buying oil from Russia and Iran despite criticism from the opposition. He said that India had also accepted the 50 percent tariff imposed by America without saying much.
However, after this statement he reacted. It said that India had not agreed to stop importing oil from Moscow. He said that in his attempt to respond to his panelists, he said some things which were incorrect according to the facts.
Ram Madhav said – What I said was wrong
He said that what I had said was wrong. India never agreed to stop importing oil from Russia. He also opposed the imposition of 50 percent tariff. I was trying to give a limited response to the other panelist’s point. But according to the facts it was wrong. I am sorry.
Recently America has again increased the discount on import of Russian oil. Due to the blockage in Hormuz, prices remained high due to reducing the prices of oil and gas around the world. Now America has given a relaxation of 30 days. 25 to 30 percent of the world’s LNG trade takes place through Hormuz. Earlier, America had issued this exemption in March. India had ordered about 30 million barrels of oil from Russia.
