A massive fire broke out today (April 29) in a flat of Gaur Green Society located in Indirapuram area of ​​Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It is being told that the fire started on the ninth floor and within no time it reached the thirteenth floor. The fire was so fierce that its flames could be seen even from the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. As soon as the information about the incident was received, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of this fire incident in Ghaziabad and directed the officials to immediately reach the spot and speed up the relief and rescue work. NDRF team has also reached Indrapuram to extinguish the fire.

The flames were so high that they were seen even on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

The flames that broke out in the flat of Gaur Green Avenue Society in Indirapuram area were so high that it engulfed the upper flats. Later, the entire sky was filled with black smoke and within no time there was a commotion in the nearby flats. According to the information, the fire reached from the 9th floor to the 15th floor. Its flames were so high in the sky that even people traveling on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway saw it. Information about the incident was also given to the fire brigade and NDRF teams, after which the fire department vehicles reached the spot and started rescue operations.

Fire brigade and NDRF teams brought the fire under control

The fire that broke out in an apartment in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad has been brought under control. The work of extinguishing the fire was done with the help of NDRF and hydraulic machine called from Meerut. The fire that broke out in flat number 943, located on the ninth floor of Tower-D of Green Avenue Society, Ghaziabad, took a huge form in no time and within a short time it engulfed 6 flats one after the other.

No casualties so far in the incident

Local people say that this is the failure of the fire department, because water was not able to reach the ninth floor and due to lack of proper way for fire engines, there was a lot of difficulty in extinguishing the fire. People say that due to lack of water it took more time to extinguish the fire. An elderly person was also trapped in the flat, who was safely rescued and taken out. At present there is no loss of life in this incident nor is any other person trapped.

More than a dozen fire engines were present on the spot and kept trying to control the fire. The hydraulic machine called from Meerut also played an important role in extinguishing the fire. Due to the high altitude, there were difficulties in relief and rescue operations, but eventually the fire was brought under control.
