‘She will fight alone, win and…’, what did Akhilesh Yadav say for Mamata Banerjee before the results of Bengal elections?

The results of the assembly elections are going to be declared in West Bengal on May 4, but before that, political turmoil has intensified in the entire country. Leaders of different parties are claiming their respective victories and the atmosphere is completely election-coloured. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has openly praised TMC chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Akhilesh Yadav’s support to Mamata Banerjee

Akhilesh Yadav gave a strong message by sharing Mamata Banerjee’s picture on his X handle. He wrote, “Alone she will fight, win and rise.” This statement is being considered very important in political circles, because it directly expresses confidence in Mamata Banerjee’s leadership and her electoral ability.

Mayawati expressed concern over increase in the price of gas cylinder, said- there is a possibility of increase in petrol and diesel also.

Political analysts believe that this statement of Akhilesh can also indicate opposition unity, especially at a time when different parties at the national level are busy strengthening their strategies.

Even before this, Akhilesh Yadav has posted in support of Mamata Banerjee. Akhilesh Yadav had written, “Didi is winning by winning hearts… The way the cordial people of West Bengal have voted overwhelmingly to defeat the communal politics of BJP is commendable. Congratulations to Didi and Bengal for actively participating in the campaign to save the Constitution and democracy! The conspiracies of BJP will be defeated.”

Questions raised on exit poll

At the same time, Akhilesh Yadav also kept his opinion clear regarding the exit polls that came after the second and last phase of voting in Bengal elections. He said that exit polls cannot be completely trusted.

Akhilesh reminded that many times in the past too the results of exit polls had proved wrong. In such a situation, it would not be right to consider these figures as the final truth. He says that the real picture will be revealed only after the counting of votes on May 4.
