Kuwait Crude Halt: A shocking news has emerged amid increasing tension in the Gulf region, according to reports from tanker trackers, Kuwait did not export a single barrel of crude oil during April 2026. This has happened for the first time in the last three decades. If this news is officially confirmed, it will be the first time since the end of the Gulf War in 1991 when Kuwait’s monthly crude oil exports have been zero.

The monitoring group posted on social media platform X that Kuwait did not export any crude oil in the month of April. However, oil production continues in the country. According to the report, Kuwait is keeping some part of its produced oil in storage, while the rest is being converted into refined products and exported.

According to Qatar’s Foreign Ministry, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim al-Thani had received a call from Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. During the conversation, he clearly said that freedom of navigation cannot be compromised and closing the Strait of Hormuz can create a serious crisis for the region and the world.

America’s increased activities

On the other hand, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said that Iran’s recent diplomatic proposal sent to America through Pakistan has been sent with the aim of ending tension between the two countries and establishing lasting peace. He said that Iran is ready to deal with any situation along with talks.
