‘Iran wants to make a deal’, Trump said – Tehran should wave the white flag of surrender

US Iran War: US President Donald Trump has made a big claim amid increasing tension with Iran and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz that Iran now wants to move towards an agreement. He said that Tehran’s military capability has become very weak and there is immense pressure on it for talks.

Trump’s claim- Iran has become weak

Trump also said that Iran should show the “white flag of surrender”, although according to him Iran is denying it publicly, but behind the scenes is showing interest in the agreement. He alleged that on one hand Iran talks to him respectfully, while on the other hand it publicly refuses talks.

Describing his strategy as effective, the US President said that the American siege is very strong and no one can challenge it. He also indicated that America would react strongly if the ceasefire was violated.

Iran’s new threat

On the other hand, the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz to use only those routes that have been approved by Iran. Iran says that use of any route other than the designated corridor will be considered “unsafe” and decisive action can be taken.

US will help in Hormuz

A day earlier, on Monday, President Donald Trump has announced that the US Navy will help in safely evacuating the ships of other countries stuck in the Strait of Hormuz. He told that this campaign will be started from Monday under “Project Freedom”. Trump said on the social media platform ‘Truth Social’ that the purpose of this mission is to assist those foreign commercial ships which are not directly related to the current regional conflict, but are stuck due to it.

He also said that there is a shortage of food, drinking water and other essential items on many ships, due to which the humanitarian situation is also becoming serious. The US President gave a strict warning to Iran and said that any kind of interference in this campaign will not be tolerated and any such action will be given a strong response.

At the same time, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) said in its statement that this operation, launched on the instructions of the President, will provide safe passage to those commercial vessels who want to pass freely through this important international trade route. However, amid the tension, Trump also indicated that talks between the US and Iran are continuing and are expected to yield “positive results for all”.

On one hand, America is increasing the pressure by terming Iran as weak, while on the other hand, Iran is also increasing the tension in the region by adopting a tough stance, due to which there is a possibility of impact on global trade and energy supply.
