However, after two wickets fell at the score of 9 runs, Devdutt Padikkal and captain Rajat Patidar took charge.
Together they made an important partnership of 95 runs in 53 balls for the third wicket. Padikkal was out after scoring 34 runs in 25 balls. Tim David scored 40 runs in 17 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes. Krunal Pandya remained unbeaten on 28 runs in 16 balls, while Romario Shepherd scored 23 not out in 15 balls. However, even the strong innings of Krunal-Shepherd could not lead to victory for RCB. In bowling, Prince Yadav bowled brilliantly for LSG and took 3 wickets for 33 runs in 4 overs. At the same time, Shahbaz Ahmed took two wickets in his name. Mohammed Shami took one wicket.

Arshin was out after scoring 17 runs. Marsh along with Nicholas Pooran made a partnership of 70 runs for the second wicket. Puran scored 38 runs in 23 balls. Marsh stood at one end and completed his century in 49 balls.
Marsh scored 111 runs in 56 balls with the help of 9 fours and 9 skyscraper sixes. In the last overs, captain Rishabh Pant scored unbeaten 32 runs in 10 balls. Pant hit 4 fours and 2 sixes. In bowling, Josh Hazlewood, Krunal Pandya and Rasikh Salam took one wicket each for RCB. RCB has faced its fourth defeat of this season.
