The statement issued by the IPL said, “Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins has been fined because his team maintained a slow over-rate during the 56th match of IPL 2026 against Gujarat Titans. This was his team’s first offense of this edition under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, hence Cummins has been fined Rs 12 lakh.”
