‘Attack was part of terrorist conspiracy’, NIA filed charge sheet regarding Delhi blast, big revelation

NIA has filed a 7,500-page charge sheet against 10 accused in the car bomb blast case that took place in the Red Fort area of Delhi in November 2025. 11 people died and many were injured in this blast. The investigating agency says that this attack was part of a well-planned terrorist conspiracy.

What’s in NIA’s charge sheet?

According to the charge sheet, all the accused were allegedly associated with Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, which has been described as an al-Qaeda inspired organisation. The main accused Dr. Omar Ul Nabi died in the blast itself. Apart from him, names of 9 other accused have also been included in the charge sheet. Investigation revealed that the accused reactivated the organization by holding a secret meeting in Srinagar in 2022 and conspired to carry out major terrorist attacks in the country under the name Operation Heavenly Hind.

The aim was to impose fundamentalist rule

According to the agency, the objective of this plan was to harm the democratic system of the country and impose fundamentalist rule. NIA claims that the accused prepared explosives like TATP from chemicals easily available in the market. The same explosive was used in the car bomb. During the investigation, evidence was collected by conducting raids in many states including Delhi, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir.
