Mohammad Siraj has proved to be a very important player for Gujarat Titans this season. The team bought him for Rs 12.25 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction and since then he has been performing consistently well. Siraj, who took 13 wickets in 12 matches, not only took wickets but also had excellent control over the run rate. His economy rate has been 8.23, which is considered quite impressive in the current high-scoring IPL.
Former Indian captain made a big comment
Former Indian captain Krishnamachari Srikkanth praised Siraj profusely on his YouTube channel. He said that Siraj did not look that effective during his time with RCB, but after coming to Gujarat Titans, he has completely changed. According to Srikanth, now Siraj is bowling more disciplined, confident and planned.

Dangerous partnership with Rabada
The pair of Mohammad Siraj and Kagiso Rabada has destroyed the batting of many teams in the powerplay. Both of them bowl hard length continuously, due to which the batsmen are not able to play shots freely. This is the reason why Gujarat Titans hold the match in the initial overs this season. Siraj played for Royal Challengers Bangalore from 2018 to 2024.
