The controversy started over the text used in the video. In the video, Trump was written as President Trump, but Xi Jinping’s name was reportedly written as President Zi. A handshake emoji was also placed along with the names of both the leaders. As soon as social media users noticed this mistake, screenshots of the video started going viral rapidly.

An account named Headquarters on X was the first to draw attention to this typo. After this many people criticized and made fun of the Trump campaign. One user wrote that the negligence and incompetence of the Trump administration is clearly visible in this. However, there has been no official statement from the Trump campaign and TikTok regarding this mistake or the removal of the video.
