The case of suspicious death of model and South Indian actress Twisha Sharma is getting deeper. Now the victim’s family has decided to challenge the anticipatory bail granted to the accused mother-in-law Giribala Singh. Twisha’s father Navnidhi Sharma said that her family will file a petition for bail cancellation in the Jabalpur High Court.
The family alleges that they have been struggling to get justice since the beginning. Also said that the system is working under the pressure of influential people.
The victim’s family made serious allegations against the police
Navnidhi Sharma said that she last spoke to her daughter on the 12th and received the news of her death about 15 minutes later. He alleged that despite calling continuously, the call was not received for a long time. Later Twisha’s mother-in-law Giribala Singh informed about the death. The family says that when they reached home, the police did not even register zero FIR and they were harassed at many levels.

The family continues to fear for their safety
The family has also raised questions on the post mortem report. He says that there is a lot of difference between the report and the circumstances of the spot. For this reason, he demanded a second post-mortem i.e. PM-2, but he was asked to go to court. Twisha’s mother Rekha Sharma alleged that efforts are being made to suppress the case and she also fears for her safety.
The family appealed for re-postmortem
The family has sought intervention in the matter from the Prime Minister, Women Commission and Chief Justice of India. Also, an appeal has been made to hand over the investigation to Delhi or any other independent agency and conduct the post-mortem again in AIIMS.
