In the last i.e. 70th league match of IPL 2026, the teams of Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals are on the field. Delhi, who came to bat first, put 203 runs on the board for 5 wickets in 20 overs. With this total, Delhi has included itself in a unique list in which earlier there were only 5 teams. The record is tied to the largest total.
Actually Delhi made a total of 200+, but there was no 50 run partnership for the team. Before today this had happened only 5 times. Now Delhi has accomplished this feat for the sixth time. However, Rahul definitely played the biggest innings of 60 runs for Delhi.
The biggest partnership for Delhi was 47 runs.
The biggest partnership for Delhi in the innings was between Sahil Parakh and KL Rahul for the second wicket. Both added 47 runs in 30 balls. This was the biggest partnership of the innings.

Both teams out of playoff
Let us tell you that Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders are out of the race for the playoffs. Both the teams have been eliminated. Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals have qualified for the playoffs. Therefore, whichever team wins in Delhi and Kolkata, it will not make any difference to the playoffs. Let us tell you that even in the last season i.e. 2025 IPL, the teams of Delhi and Kolkata could not qualify for the playoffs.
Earlier in 2024, Kolkata had won the title under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer. However, after winning the title, the franchise released the captain who won the trophy. At present Ajinkya Rahane is commanding the team. Under the captaincy of Rahane, the team has been eliminated in both the seasons.
