Elections will be held on 9 seats for the Legislative Council in Bihar while by-election will be held on one seat which is held by Nitish Kumar. That means elections are to be held on a total of 10 seats for which the dates have been announced. The biggest question is who will contest on how many seats in NDA? Who will be given a chance this time?

If sources are to be believed, JDU can contest on four seats, BJP on four and LJP Ram Vilas on one seat in NDA. At the same time, BJP can give one seat from its quota to Upendra Kushwaha’s party (RLM).

According to the number of MLAs, NDA’s victory on 9 out of 10 seats is considered certain. RJD can contest on one seat in the grand alliance and can also win.

If NDA fields candidates on 9 seats and RJD contests on one seat, then there will be no voting. To elect a member of the Legislative Council in the 243-member Bihar Assembly, the support of 25 MLAs is required.

Question- Who will get a chance from NDA?
