Big news has come for lakhs of students of CBSE Board. Students who were waiting to get their copies re-checked and marks reviewed after the results are declared will now have to wait a little longer. The Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE has made it clear that the online portal created for post result activities will now be started from June 1, 2026.
The board has said that this decision has been taken to complete the process of checking and re-evaluation of answer sheets of students completely transparently and without any technical problem. CBSE says that it does not want any kind of mistake or haste in the evaluation process, hence all necessary preparations and technical arrangements are being strengthened.
Students will get clear and accurate assessment
Every year after the results are declared, a large number of students raise questions about their marks. Many students feel that their copy was not checked properly or they did not get marks as per their hard work. In such a situation, the process of re-checking and re-evaluation is considered very important for the students.
CBSE has said that this time the entire process is being made safer and easier so that students do not have to face any kind of problem. The board wants that every student should get correct and fair evaluation.

Portal will open from June 1
According to CBSE, the post result activities portal will be operational from June 1, 2026. Through this portal, students will be able to see the copy of their answer sheets, get their marks re-checked and apply for re-evaluation.
Why was this decision taken?
In the last few years, after the results, complaints like slow website, application failure and technical glitches have been coming to the fore. Many students had trouble applying on time. Keeping this in view, CBSE wants to start the process this time with more preparation than before.
Helpline launched to solve problems of students
CBSE has also issued a helpline number and email ID for the convenience of students and parents. If any student has any question regarding the result, re-checking or application process, he/she can directly contact the board. Students can contact CBSE tele-counselling helpline number 1800 11 8004. Apart from this, the board has also started email facility. Students can send their problems to resultcbse2026@cbseshiksha.in.
