Actually, the makers have finally confirmed the OTT release date of this film of Dhruv Sarja. According to which KD: The Devil will start streaming on OTT platform ZEE5 from June 5, 2026. The team of the film has made the official announcement of its OTT release through social media.
‘KD The Devil’ will stream in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. Due to criticism, the film did not get good response in theatres. Now it remains to be seen what kind of response it gets from the OTT audience.
What is the story of ‘KD: The Devil’?
KD: The Devil, starring Dhruv Sarja, is the story of the character Kali Das aka KD, set against the backdrop of power, loyalty and betrayal. KD is a happy-go-lucky, illiterate young man, who loves his family and lives life happily. His elder brother Dharam always underestimates him. As a child, KD idolizes the notorious gangster Dhak Deva (Sanjay Dutt starrer), who is so impressive that he can scare even the police. Things start changing when KD falls in love with the outspoken and fearless Machhu Lakshmi. Her personality perfectly matches KD’s energy and rebellious nature.

But soon his life takes a dangerous turn when certain events lead his family to be dragged into the violent world run by Dhak Deva. KD learns some shocking things about Deva and people close to him. Then he realizes that the person he once considered his idol may be the cause of so much devastation and pain. After this, KD undergoes an emotional transformation and Five starts fighting to save his loved ones from his idol.
