Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Naveen will hold an important meeting with the presidents of state units at the party headquarters in Delhi on Monday. It is expected that he will convey the main message shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the top leadership of the party to the state presidents.
It is noteworthy that as per the announcement of the Election Commission, elections for 24 Rajya Sabha seats in 10 states are going to be held on June 18. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s discussion with the BJP core group on Sunday is being considered very important in view of these elections as well as the upcoming elections in Legislative Councils.
National president Nitin Naveen’s scheduled interaction with state unit chiefs on Monday is being seen as an effort to fine-tune the strategy for the upcoming elections and discuss the activities to be organized to commemorate the completion of 12 years of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government.
BJP national general secretary (organisation) BL Santosh and other national general secretaries will also participate in the brainstorming session to discuss strategies for the upcoming elections, a party leader said. Apart from assessing the state-level activities of the BJP, senior leaders are also expected to discuss issues related to the expansion of the organization.
At the same time, strengthening the BJP at the booth level will also be the main focus of discussion, because the eyes of the National President are fixed on the next phase of elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur in the beginning of 2027.
The meeting is taking place at a time when BJP state units are close to completing training sessions for mandal-level workers under the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Maha Training Campaign’. The aim of this huge training campaign of the party is to reach all the divisions of the states and promote the ideology of cultural nationalism and integral humanism among the workers.
