In a conversation with Filmibeat, Imtiaz Ali said, ‘Ranbir can do any kind of role. He is such an actor who completely adapts to every character. I am happy that he is playing the role of Lord Ram. He can give a different depth and reality to this character. Ranbir learns a lot from the characters he plays and adopts them in his life as well. Playing a role like Lord Ram will give Ranbir a chance to learn and understand a lot personally.

Ramayana team and starcast
Some time back, the teaser of Lord Ram from ‘Ramayana’ was released, which has received mixed reactions from the audience. Although many fans praised it a lot. In the film, Ranbir will be seen not only in the role of Lord Ram but also in the role of Lord Parshuram. This mega budget film is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra. Apart from Ranbir, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Arun Govil, Rakul Preet Singh, Ravi Dubey and many other brilliant actors are going to be seen in the film. Its first part will be released in Diwali 2026 and the second in Diwali 2027.
When will Imtiaz’s film be released?
Talking about Imtiaz Ali’s film, ‘Main Wapas Aaunga’ will show an incomplete love story, in which Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari Wagh and Vedang Raina will be seen in lead roles. This film is going to be released on June 12, the trailer of which has also been liked by the fans.
