Taking a major decision, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has suspended the Canada Cricket Board with immediate effect. There are allegations that Canada Cricket was violating its membership obligations. This decision was taken in the ICC board meeting held in Ahmedabad on 31 May.
The ICC issued a statement saying that the Canadian board has been suspended. However, this will not have any impact on the players and players will be able to participate in ICC tournaments as before. This decision has been taken at the administrative level, so that it does not affect the players financially, the funds will be received through a controlled system.
ICC has set some conditions for the reinstatement of the Canada Cricket Board, the purpose of which will be to remove the administrative shortcomings. ICC will form a committee to monitor whether work is being done in this direction or not.
Discuss many other issues

ICC has also approved the recommendation of using pink ball if both the teams agree on this. In the upcoming Test matches, pink balls can be seen being used in low light conditions. Apart from this, the topic of organizing a global qualifier tournament for the Men’s T20 World Cup was also discussed.
Concern about franchise cricket
