LPG Cylinder Rate on June 3: Even today on June 3, LPG prices remain stable in the country. Oil companies have maintained the rates issued on June 1. However, on the first of June, the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders have been increased. The prices have been increased by about Rs 42. Apart from this, the prices of 5 kg ‘Chhotu’ gas cylinder have also been increased, which is generally popular among small families and customers with limited usage.

relief to the general public
The government has given relief to common consumers by not changing the prices of domestic cylinders in June. However, the 19 kg commercial cylinder used in hotels, dhabas and restaurants has become expensive. Earlier on the date of May, it was directly increased by Rs 993. Then now in June the rate was increased by about Rs 42. Oil companies have also increased the prices of 5 kg free-trade (FTL) gas cylinders. Now its price in Delhi has increased to Rs 821.50.
Why was the price increased?
The increase in gas cylinders in June is also due to geopolitical tensions and disruption in the global supply chain. Since India imports about 60% of its LPG requirement from Middle East countries, due to the tense situation there, it has become difficult and expensive for gas cargo to reach India. Due to this the input cost of companies is increasing.
