There was a phone conversation between Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan. According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the two leaders discussed in detail the recent developments in the region and the situation arising after the US military action. During the talks, both sides shared their views regarding the current situation and agreed to continue consultations on regional developments. Consensus reached on maintaining close coordination
According to the statement, the two leaders agreed to maintain close coordination between the US and Israel in different areas. President Trump also informed Prime Minister Netanyahu about recent American developments in the Gulf region.
The issue of Erdogan’s statements and security zone also came up
During the phone conversation, Prime Minister Netanyahu also raised the issue of the seriousness of the statements made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his officials against the existence of Israel. Along with this, he also stressed the need to maintain a security zone on Israel’s borders.
